West Duluth Business Club has received $4,788.91 from Minnesota Power’s Power of One Business energy conservation program.
As part of a joint venture, the West Duluth Business Club has partnered with the City of Duluth, Irving Community Club and the Spirit Valley Youth Center to place LED lights on the ornamental trees located on Grand and Central avenues. The partners made a conscious decision to use energy efficient LED bulbs. The rebate check came as a bonus when the WDBC learned about MN Power’s Power of One Conservation program.
The rebate monies will be used to continue funding the successful ornamental lighting program.
